The Opportunity: What You Will Do

As a UK Education Recruitment Specialist, you will manage fast-paced recruitment and daily cover delivery for UK schools and educational trusts. You will play a critical role in ensuring classrooms are fully staffed with vetted, high-quality educators.

Shift Details: This role aligns with standard UK business hours to support the critical “morning rush” of school cover and daily operations (typically starting between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM IST).

Your day-to-day will focus on:

  • Education Professional Sourcing: Identify, approach, and engage active and passive candidates, including Qualified Teachers (QTS), Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants (TAs), Early Years Educators, and SEN Specialists.
  • Fast-Paced Supply Booking & Fulfillment: Manage rapid-response recruitment activity, particularly the early morning “supply rush.” This includes candidate availability checks, daily booking confirmations, diary management, client follow-ups, and handling last-minute emergency classroom cover.
  • Stringent Safer Recruitment Compliance: Match candidates to schools by ensuring strict adherence to UK Department for Education (DfE) safeguarding standards. This involves rigorously verifying QTS status, Enhanced DBS checks, right-to-work, referencing, and mandatory safeguarding training.
  • Stakeholder & System Coordination: Build strong, trust-based relationships with educators, UK account managers, and school leadership (Headteachers/Cover Managers) while maintaining accurate booking updates, compliance notes, and activity tracking in internal CRMs and education-specific booking systems.

What You Bring to the Table

We welcome applications from recruiters with experience in education staffing, daily supply booking, compliance-heavy recruitment, or fast-paced temporary staffing environments. We are looking for:

  • Education Recruitment Experience: Proven experience handling supply/temp bookings, candidate sourcing, availability checks, and urgent fulfillment specifically within the education or highly regulated sectors.
  • UK Education Sector Awareness: A solid understanding of the UK education market, safeguarding regulations, Safer Recruitment compliance (Enhanced DBS, QTS), or a strong willingness and capability to master UK education recruitment processes rapidly.
  • Urgency, Communication & Ownership: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, relentless follow-up discipline, strict attention to compliance detail, and the ability to manage multiple urgent vacancies under intense time pressure.
  • UK Shift Flexibility: Strict availability and comfort working standard UK shift timings (IST afternoons/evenings) to ensure seamless, real-time support for UK schools.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Specialist UK Education Exposure: Build highly sought-after expertise in a rewarding, impact-driven sector, specializing in education staffing and advanced safeguarding compliance.
  • Structured Shift Environment: Work in a clearly defined UK support model with strong team coordination, process guidance, and operational support.
  • Career Growth: Receive hands-on mentorship, specialized compliance training, and clear pathways to grow into an expert UK Education recruitment professional.
  • The Culture: A recognized Great Place to Work® environment that champions health benefits, dynamic energy, and long-term professional development.
